Your lordship is dramatically putting an end to his months long bout of inaction. We're more than half way through the sailing season & we've no more obtained a single crew member than we've netted an aquamarine jewel adorned mermaid. It's bullshit & I'm lighting the fires, readying the dinghy & packing my bag of Francs in an attempt to complete my crew. I'm still hosting auditions at Playground Productions until our roster is filled ( https://playgroundindy.com/rehearsal ). Due to PGindy's security policies, auditions are by appointment only. I've also recently subscribed to a Musician's Video Conferencing service called "FarPlay.io" and can certainly do auditions there. ( https://farplay.io/download ) The client is free unless you want to host the conferences yourself. You only need a wired headphones & a webcam to participate (a recording interface is recommended for zero latency practices or auditions). Bluetooth devices add too much latency, so avoid those if you can. Anyway, If you'd like an opportunity to jam with us, hit me up on Facebook and we'll get it on the calendar.
I'll be spending this year visiting clubs like Hi-Fi, Radio-radio, Mouse Trap, Melody Inn, Healer, and any other intimate setting that's bustling with music enthusiasts. The folks I expect to round out my crew with won't be Phd degreed Julliards or Berkley grads because we're just staring out again after a long hiatus. We're just ordinary Janes & Joes. I want people with an unfaltering passion for music, a love of the drama in storytelling, an otherwise "ordinary" disposition (well, ordinary'ish... I'm not normal either), and the determination to increase your aptitude with your instruments over time. And to add to the fun, we'll be doing Shakespearean skits before every set once we start playing out.
